The standards and protocols of the Richmond Scottish Rite Guard.
Membership Classes
Active
Not more than 35 men, including officers. Elected from Reserve list based on seniority.
Reserve
Not more than 5 men. One year apprenticeship required to become eligible for Active membership.
Senior
Available after 15 years of active service or due to physical disability.
Requirements & Protocol
Membership in the Guard is by invitation and secret ballot. No one shall be considered for membership unless he has been an active member of The Rite for one year.
- Minimum 75% attendance at regular meetings and Reunions required.
- Prospective members must not be informed they are being considered.
